Organizational Profile & Brief History
The Lions Club of Contai Deshapran Welfare Trust emerged into existence via a “Deed of Trust” in the womb of “Lions Club of Contai Deshapran” on June 14, 2019.
We stand firmly on the cult and tradition of our mainstay motto: "We Serve". Our journey began with the generous vision of the Settlor of the trust deed-cum-Land Donor, Lt. Kalidas Tripathy, who transferred and handed over his valuable 70 Decimal land to the Trust.
His dream was to build a Briddhashram (Old-Age Home) and other allied activities like a Nursery School, Poly Clinic, Dispensary, and Child Home. Today, we are undertaking the herculean task of erecting that Briddhashram to pay unflinching tribute to his legacy.
